WinSCP (Windows Secure CoPy)
: a free and open-source SFTP, SCP and FTP client for Microsoft Windows. Its main function is secure file transfer between a local and a remote computer.

1) Text File Transfer : in case of connection between Windows and Unix/Linux, WinSCP automatically converts file format according to receiver OS. For example, line endings are converted to LF when the file is transferred from Windows to Linux. And also, line endings are converted to CR/LF when from Linux to Windows.
